SANS Security Awareness
Challenge: SANS Security Awareness had two legacy platforms that were no longer meeting the needs of the customers, gaining disgracefully, and mounting in hosting and support costs
Opportunity: Build a new SaaS (micro service architecture) LMS platform to successfully deliver product content to customers, reducing costs, and increasing subscription renewal rate. Additionally, SANS at this time was new to product management and agile development.
Product Strategy: First we conducted a round of user research to determine and confirm pain points and aspirations. Upon distillation of the MVP, the project roadmap was created with the overall strategy of building a product to achieve parity, address major customer pain points (lack of multi-tenancy, poor performance, poor user management, for user experience). Develop, enablement, and release while simultaneously introducing product management and agile practices as a discipline within the organization.
Results: Customers were delighted via usability testing and beta testing with the new visual design, workflows, performance, visual design, and features introduced.
